Coach Ian Rees
Co-Founder and Technical Coach
Ian Rees is the Co-Founder of Integrative Soccer and is the embodiment of Integrative Soccer’s mission.
After playing at the top level of DI college soccer and professionally in England, Coach Ian was forced to retire due to injury and mental burnout.
Post retirement, Coach Ian applies the wisdom he gained from his story into helping young athletes avoid a similar fate.
Coach Nicole Hernandez, DPT
Co-Founder and Physical Therapist
Nicole Hernandez, DPT is a Co-Founder of Integrative Soccer.
As a licensed Physical Therapist, Coach Nicole combined her injury prevention skills with her prior soccer experience to build and develop the Injury Prevention arm of Integrative Soccer.
As Integrative Soccer partnered with Kaito Athletic Studio, Coach Nicole turned her attention to provide resources to youth athletes. Her informational resources aimed towards soccer-specific topics are located in our “Resources” tab.

Coach Micah Ching
Owner and Technical Coach
Micah Ching, the founder of The Footy Lab, heads Integrative Soccer’s technical & tactical coaching in Hawaii.
Coach Micah grew up playing soccer in Maui before competing for Chaminade University’s Men’s Soccer program. After graduating, Coach Micah has transitioned into the program’s staff as an Assistant Coach. His unwavering dedication to Hawaii’s youth is evident in his caring and heavily personalized approach to private coaching.
With an eye for detail, Coach Micah specializes in combining players’ technical ability with spatial awareness on the field. This makes players excellent at movement on and off the ball, which happens to be Micah’s greatest strength in play.
A standout at Clemson University, Coach Shannon earned ACC All-Freshman and later led her team to the 2016 ACC Regular Season Championship as Captain. Her excellence on the collegiate field was only a prelude to her international achievements, representing Team USA at the U-19, U-20, and U-23 levels.
Post-college, Shannon’s talent took her across continents, playing professionally in Sweden and Cyprus, before making waves in the US with the North Carolina Courage of the National Women’s Soccer League. Her transition to coaching at the DI collegiate level with Wagner College showcased her ability to impart her vast knowledge to budding players.
Coach Shannon brings a blend of elite DI collegiate, professional, and US National Team experience. Be sure to enquire for any outfield training.
Coach Micah Tateishi
Coach Micah Tateishi (Tats) was born and raised in Maui. He competed locally for both club and high school before moving to California to start his collegiate career.
After playing four years at for Notre Dame de Namur university, Coach Micah returned to Hawaii to coach the varsity team at Mid Pac Institute high school on O’ahu.
Coach Micah brings vast experience and collegiate level knowledge to the coaching staff at The Footy Lab. Be sure to enquire for any outfield training.
Coach Clay Ah-Soon
Coach Clay Ah-Soon (CJ), is a seasoned goalkeeper, mentoring aspiring keepers in Hawaii.
Born and raised in Hawaii, Coach CJ entered his collegiate career for Chaminade University’s Men’s Soccer Program, Coach CJ earning Academic All-Pac West honors. Outside of college sports, Coach CJ applies his knowledge coaching at the High School level in Hawaii.
His diverse experience enriches The Footy Lab, where he’s ready to assist those seeking goalkeeper training.

Mental Empowerment Coach
Kanda Korver is spearheading Integrative Soccer’s in-person and online holistic wellness empowerment based in Oahu, Hawaii.
Kanda is the founder of Kore Vibration, a program focused on planting seeds of empowerment in order to help athletes grow their mental wellbeing, confidence, happiness, and peace.
Kore Vibration focuses on a holistic approach by connecting concepts across movement, mindfulness, and breath work.
Kanda hosts regular workshops in combination with The Footy Lab as well as offering 1:1 training in-person.

Coach Jamie Dominguez, DPT
Injury Prevention, Injury Rehabilitation, and S&C Coach
Jamie Dominguez, Kaito Athletic Studio, is spearheading Integrative Soccer’s in-person strength & conditioning and injury prevention on Oahu, Hawaii.
Coach Jamie is a licensed physiotherapist and CSCS who specializes in injury prevention and pre-habilitation for jump and agility-based athletes.
Kaito Athletic Studio is based out of Honolulu while also offering online programs.
Jamie hosts regular workshops in combination with The Footy Lab as well as offering 1:1 and group training both in-person and online.

Athlete Recovery Clinic
Jamie Dominguez, DPT & Peter Zhu, DPT
Outside of Kaito Athletic Studio, Jamie Dominguez, DPT has teamed up Peter Zhu, DPT to provide youth athletes in Hawaii a fully serviced recovery clinic.
Their services include but aren’t limited to, float therapy, red light therapy, contrast therapy, and compression boot therapy. Located in east Honolulu, Hawaii Move Lab is open to soccer players and individual therapy’s can be booked ad hoc and on a membership basis.
